The Camas Wellness Festival will take place on Saturday, October 13th from 10am – 5pm in Dowtown Camas at four (4) different locations: The Camas Public Library, Dance Evolution, Flow Hot Yoga and Evolutions Preschool.

This inaugural event is Presented by: MOMS Club of Camas/ WashougalThe Camas Public Library, and Embody Love Movement and is a fundraiser for Dance Evolution, a non profit dance studio promoting health and wellness.

Erika Levy serves as the Festival Director and Executive Producer. In addition, she serves on the Executive Board of MOMS Club of Camas/ Washougal as Membership Vice President. She offers free kids and family yoga classes regularly and enjoys bringing the community together to share resources, support and uplift one another.

Adolescent Mental Health Summit

At the Camas Public Library, there will be an Adolescent Mental Health Summit. Sessions are open to the public and free of charge, but registration is strongly suggested. Ticketed guests will be seated first. Our mission is to provide education on a variety of topics our children and adolescents are facing in today's world. Our hope is to empower parents to understand the emotional challenges our youth face from a mental health perspective. Topics to include: understanding anxiety, stress, bullying, depression, competitive and academic pressures, and mindful parenting. Content Producer/ Host: Kimberly Berry.

Post Natal / Early Learning Workshops

At Evolutions Preschool, there will be sessions for Mothers of infants and toddlers. Sessions include: Making Healthy Postpartum Transitions and Reclaiming Your Body in the Midst of Motherhood, presented by The Tummy Team,  a MOMS Club Meetup and more!

Dance for Wellness

At Dance Evolution, Aspen Tufares, Owner / Teacher, will be leading two Dance for Wellness classes: one for adolescents and one for adults. Kendall Hagensen from Vancouver Wellness Studio will be leading an experiential self-care workshop with massage therapist, Krystal, for parents that will offer tangible AND manageable tools to incorporate at home.

Yoga for Wellness

At Evolutions Preschool, there will be Multitasking Mama Yoga and Erika will teach Imagination Yoga for kids, ages 3 - 7. 

At Dance Evolution, Erika and Minta Allred, Master Facilitator-Trainer for Embody Love Movement will co-facilitate a Love In – Shine Out workshop with Erika that empowers girls, ages 7-11, to celebrate their inner beauty, commit to kindness and make a meaningful change in the world. 

At Flow Hot Yoga, Erika will teach Family Yoga and will co-facilitate the Inner Beauty Shop for teen girls, ages 12-18, with Minta.

Minta will lead the Embody Love Workshop for all female identifying adults and at the Camas Public Library, Moriah Diederich, Holistic Yoga Therapist, RYT500, Accessible Yoga Ambassador at Yoga Mojo & Movement Therapy will speak about how to achieve better posture & ergonomics in a technology-driven culture.

Vendor Marketplace

A vendor marketplace will take place downstairs in Evolutions Preschool, where there will be booths, music and activities for children.
